Tours

Looking to explore the beauty of Mexico without having to worry about a shady tour agency trying to rip you off with the “gringo tax”? Appreciate boots-on-the-ground information to take you to the off-the-beaten-path parts of the world without feeling as if you have to constantly look over your shoulder or worry about someone trying to take advantage of you?

Cris was born and raised in this part of the world, just down the road from Palenque, and after a few years of living in the Riviera Maya, we set up a permanent base of operations for Marginal Boundaries. With her personal knowledge of the area and her local connections, we’ve been able to create a series of adventure tours that are unlike anything you’ll find with a generic travel agency. Not only that, but as full-time travel bloggers we know exactly what it takes to create life-changing adventures and stories that you will carry with you for the rest of your life.

Come climb and enter some of the most mystical pyramids on the planet at one of several different sites. Make your way through the lush jungles and discover the diversity of plant and animal life that Chiapas and Tabasco have to offer. Dive into the invigorating waters of a tropical paradise, or relax in the swirling pools that collect the turquoise blue waters of the many waterfalls that the states are famous for.

#travelblogbootcamp 2014

Ride the mighty Usumacinta River on the adventure of a lifetime to explore the ancient wonder of Yaxchilan, or her sister ruins of Bonampak. Spend a day and get lost in the majesty of Palenque. Sip coffee and hot chocolate in street-corner cafes in San Cristobal de las Casas. Meet local craftsmen and women, artisans, restaurant owners, fellow expats and travelers and beyond!

Don’t miss out on these adventures! Cristina and I both have a deep-rooted love of nature, and this is one of the most magical places on the planet. We are absolutely thrilled to be able to share it with others from around the world!
