Due to an unforeseen change in schedule related to personal issues (a wedding, among other things), our current artist has had to back out of their arrangement with us.
What does this mean?
It means we are currently on the lookout for one, two, or possibly even three talented freelance artists to cover our art needs for Issue 1.
For more information on how to send us your cover letter + portfolio information, please refer to our submissions guidelines page, which has been amended to reflect our current need for artists.
In short, we want you to send us a cover letter plus a link to your online portfolio. Keep in mind we ARE NOT accepting unsolicited art work. What we are accepting is cover letters + online portfolios. We have no preference towards new artists or professional artists. Our decisions will be based purely upon whether or not we like what we see in your online portfolio.
You must have a PayPal account to be eligible.
If we like what we see, we will be contacting the relevant artists. We will only be contacting short-list candidates.
If you are selected to work with us on Issue 1, you will be commissioned to draft several original pieces relevant to the stories in Issue 1. In addition, we need an original piece of art for the cover. Ideally we’d love to find one perfect candidate who can cover all our art needs, but if we need to we will split the load between two or three artists if we find there are several who look like they can give us what we are after in terms of art.
Ideally we need artists who are available to work between now and mid-March. The earlier the better.
If this is you, send us the relevant information at your earliest convenience. We look forward to hearing from you!

Hi TW, thanks… I’ll post this tomorrow on my site.
Thanks Anne. Kind of in a bind atm, so scrambling to find some artists who can cover things in the time frame we have
