After some deliberation, I’ve decided to leave the art submissions open, albeit not in the same fashion as the writing submissions.
Rather than sending in pieces of art for consideration, we are going to continue submissions of cover letters with portfolios attached to allow us a global pool of talent to choose from when it comes time to working with artists for our interior and cover art.
Please see the submission guidelines for more information on how to submit your portfolio, as well as our current rates and expectations.
On a side note, we are coming along nicely for Issue 1. Stories are finishing up developmental editing this weekend and authors should expect to start seeing revision requests on/around March 1st. We have chosen a cover artist as well as several interior artists, and art will be coming in around the 2nd week of March. Keep in mind we are launching on March 31st, so stay tuned as we get closer to the release of issue 1. Cheers!
